The second in the Twilight series revolves around Bella (Kristen Stewart) coming to grips with dating Edward, a closeted vampire, and then abruptly losing him and having to re-piece her life together in a small Washington town. This leads to the start of a very messy, and bloody, love triangle with Jacob, who has a secret of his own.

The Good:

Most of what’s good about this movie is due to Stephanie Meyer, the author of the insanely popular book series in which these movies are based on. The complex story of a love triangle between a lonely town girl who doesn’t quite fit in with the crowd and two very opposite end of the spectrum guys is intriguing to see played out. Will she choose the dark, mysterious Edward or the full of life, aggressive Jacob. Some of the effects in this higher budget second installment stand out as well, such as Bella cliff-diving and seeing flashes of Edward beneath the water.

*UPDATE* I have posted the HD version for your viewing pleasure.

I got my hands on the official Prince of Persia movie trailer. I thought it would post it here and on YouTube for the rest of you to see. I will be releasing a Higher Quality version tomorrow once Disney releases it, but this should hold things over until then. Personally, I think it looks PHENOMENAL!!

Last you saw of this film was the behind the scenes look I posted earlier. There were mixed receptions about the film preview I posted, but I think it looks cool and will definately go see. Touchstone released an official trailer for the film which you can see here. Enjoy!

If you have never played a Resident Evil game, they are quite an experience in themselves. I am not sure about the rest of you but when I played Resident Evil 1 for the first time and those dogs jumped through the window I nearly pee’d my pants. The game begins as Chris Redfield is deployed to Kijuju, Africa, to join Sheva Alomar and apprehend Ricardo Irving. Irving is attempting to sell a bio-organic weapon on the black market. Along the way, they witness a local being fed a parasite, which quickly takes control of his body, turning him into a Majini. From here on, almost all Kijuju locals seen by Chris and Sheva have been turned into Majini. At that point you are put on a wild chase taking out giant monsters, psycho zombies, and bizarre puzzles! Enjoy the ride.

Title: Resident Evil 5

The Good:

This game has many things going for it such as extremely deep and intriguing story line. Although the story line is a bit wild, the characters and cut scenes dig you deep into the world that you are convinced it all is real. The visuals in this game as insanely awesome, by far one of the best games visually on the 360 or PS3. When the characters talk and move around the quality is starting to get arguably close to that film Final Fantasy and the spirits within. One other great thing about this game is the insanely cool boss fights. When something ginormous jumps out at you and you have to figure out a way to kill it, shoot it, chase it, who knows what, it is a thrilling and challenging experience. To top off all this greatness is the fact you can do all these things, with a friend. Sitting down with a buddy and shooting the crap out of zombies. Nothing is better.  It’s what I was hoping for the moment I picked up the game Dead Rising.

Eight years after “The Fast and the Furious,” showed there was an audience for Car porn, comes this, the fourth installment into the series.  “Fast and Furious” reunites the stars of the first movie, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker. In the original roles that made them big stars almost a decade ago.   This time around, a murder brings everyone back to L.A., which leads to ex-con Dom Toretto (Diesel) and Police Officer Brian O’Connor (Walker) having a shared enemy and needing to work together to bring him down.

The Good:

As one would expect, the car race scenes are phenomenal.  Director Justin Lin, who directed the third installment “Tokyo Drift” as well, knows how to set an action scene and carry an audience away on a ride.   Set in Los Angeles and nearby Mexico, the scenery also looks really nice on the big screen.
