I really like this version. It’s every bit as good if not better than the others. More playable and keeps things fresh throughout the game with new scenes, better control etc..

I Hyped GTA 4 on Everhype and gave it 89% which I think is fairly accurate.

I have to agree with maybe on this. You can’t review a game that takes 30+ hours to complete in two hours. You haven’t even played one per cent of the game yet. Being “extremely bored” is no excuse. It doesn’t matter if you are a soft, mid, or hardcore gamer, you need to actually PLAY the game before you can review it.

I agree with you that my assessment was half assed, however after playing for 2 hours I got extremely bored. Mid-core gamer is about engaging game play that is new, unique, and varies from time to time. I just wasn’t feeling it with this game.

You reviewed a game as huge in scope as GTA4 based on only two hours of gameplay? Granted I’m not a GTA fan either, but that’s like reviewing the first 10 minutes of a 2 hour movie. Either you actually put the effort into playing the games you review, or you don’t review them.
